The Lounge is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Each tutor is scheduled to be in the Lounge at a particular hour each week.

Speaking Activities :

Activities	Description
Free talking	Students can talk freely with tutors and Epals on any subject.
※ Elounge Speaking Activity Sheets prepared by instructors	Students must talk on topics or activities assigned by their professor. Students must bring one copy of the sheet.
TOEFL 1 minute speaking prompts	Students can practice the speaking section of TOEFL based on prompts that are provided by the Elounge.
Business Interview Questions (첨부파일)	Students can practice basic interview questions that are provided by the lounge.
Current Issues	Students can read newspapers and magazines in the Elounge and talk about current issues with tutors.

Tutors will help students do their activity as an observer or as an interviewer.

※ Important : Students must notify the TA to check-in for the Elounge speaking activity and then notify the TA again to check-out (total 2 times). The Elounge cannot be responsible for students who do not notify the TA of their check-in and check-out times.

If you want to be tutored by an E-pal tutor, please make an appointment.
Please make an appointment under "튜터링 예약" if you want consultation with a tutor. Otherwise, feel free to come to the Elounge any time to read, watch DVDs, and do group work in English.

Business Interview Service : (첨부파일)
For interviews in English, please print the document and come PREPARED with answers. The Elounge will only consult with you the set questions. Tutors can help you with your logic and pronunciation. They will not be responsible for writing your interview script or sharing business related knowledge.

Do I have to speak English when I go?
Yes, the English Lounge is an English Only Zone. This means that if you wish to speak Korean you should leave the room to do so. Anyone heard speaking Korean will be asked to stop, and continue their conversations in English. This goes for anyone speaking on their cell phones too.

What WON'T the English Lounge do?
We won't help you work on your essays, or proofread any English related documents. If you need help with this then you should book an appointment with the Writing Clinic. While some tutors are happy to answer any questions you may have about essay writing, or any other English related assignments you may have, the primary purpose of the Lounge is to provide visitors with an opportunity to develop their conversation skills.
