IMAGIST is the black-and-white photo appreciation club for Communication and Media students of Ewha Womans University. IMAGIST evolved from the original News Photography club in the Division of Journalism in 1965 into what it is today. The members of the club learn how to properly use and take photographs with film cameras, develop the photographs, and take time to critique each other’s work. Members go on biweekly trips to take photographs and show the results of their hard work at their annual exhibition in the fall. As the club’s aim is for students to find their own form of expression through the use of cameras, we welcome everyone to join the club, especially amateurs who are passionate about their work.
