In the constantly changing media environment, talented individuals with an eye for detail, a knack for interactivity, and skilled at effective communication are much needed. Ewha Womans University’s Department of Communication and Media is using our track-based curriculum to prepare talented female experts for the media industry.
Customize your academic path through our broad and flexible curriculum.
Our integrated Communication and Media major includes six different tracks: Journalism, Relations/Strategic Communications, Digital and Visual Media, Media Law and Management, Convergence Media, and Media Engineering and Entrepreneurship. Under this restructured program, students are not divided into separate majors and can take the initiative to find courses to suit their preferences, talents, and dreams in the media industry.
We expect great results from combining the maximization of our students’ prospects for employment through using our track-based curriculum to reinforce a strong academic base in communications and the interdisciplinary character of the convergence field, to prepare them for a global market, and to strengthen the ties between academia and the industry, with the Department’s long history, cooperative network, educational atmosphere, and experience in educating the future of the media field.
