The demand for communications experts to facilitate the connection between countries, various academic fields, and the public and private is ever growing. Our programs cultivate multitalented individuals through a well-rounded education connecting communications, computer engineering, sociology, business management, and other related academic fields.

Educational Goals: Specialized Education in Communications via our Track System

We aim to cultivate specialized knowledge and practical skills in the vast and integral communications fields by providing six different tracks which students can choose from: Journalism, Relations/Strategic Communications, Digital and Visual Media, Media Law and Management, Convergence Media, and Media Engineering and Entrepreneurship.

Curricular Programs

“7+1” International Exchange Program

Giving students a competitive edge in the global market through a semester of overseas studies paired with seven semesters in Korea. Course Integration : Combination of our communications and media programs into one major with various tracks for students to choose from.

 

Interdisciplinary Education

Core class requirements in courses outside of the major as well as the option of a self-designed major track ensure students receive a vast array of interdisciplinary knowledge.

3-Step Extracurricular Accreditation

Step 1 – Practical Application

Students receive accreditation for extracurricular club activities and support in their projects, as well as opportunities to work and network with industry experts.


Step 2 – Deepening of Expertise 

A variety of workshops led by experts in the field are offered along with many long-term opportunities to reinforce their specialization in the field. 


Step 3 – Preparation for Employment 

The Communications and Media program introduces internships to students, runs the Frontier Media and Journalism School, and provides students with a practical education through the Media Career Center.
