❍ Women’s Studies in Asia Series

Our “Women’s Studies in Asia Series” is a part of the broader cooperative project with women’s studies institutes and practitioners in 8 Asian countries: China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand. In order to promote feminist knowledge and pedagogical guidelines in the Asian context, participants embarked on an ambitious plan to develop women’s studies textbooks in native languages as well as English. Nine research teams, including two from India, consisted of 68 scholars have been actively involed.
