How can I use wifi on campus?
A : Choose WiFi. Choose SSID (WiFi connect Ewha). Enter your Ewha-portal ID and password. Make sure your ID is in capital letters.

Can I use the campus shuttle?
A : The school provides free shuttle services (29 people capacity per bus). There are two routes; one from the Ewha subway stationo (exit 3) and another from the Gyeongbokgung subway station (exit 1). You can use it Monday through Friday all around the year. You can check the shuttle schedule and detailed routes at the "Notice board" on Ewha homepage and portal.

What is Cyber Campus?
A : Cyber Campus is an online platform where students can access information about classes they are currently taking and receive materials from their professors and classmates. You can log into http://cyber.ewha.ac.kr with your student ID number and password anf go to the "English" page. Then you will be able to enter "My Classroom." You can manage your academic work on-line. Professors often upload class materials and give assignments on cyber campus. If you can't see some of your classes, that means that your professor didn't open a cyber campus for that class.

Is early graduation possible?
A : According to Ewha Graduate School Regulations, master's program students must register full time for at least 4 semesters. Even if you complete all the requirements earlier than 4 semesters, you must register as a full time student for 4 semesters.

Where can I make photocopies?
A : You can make copies, print out papers, and color print at the Canon Store at ECC (Gate 4).

What kind of school facilities are available?
A : There is a post office and travel agency on B1 floor in the Human Ecology Building. On B4 floor at ECC, there are a convenience store, Shinhan Bank, a bakery, a cafe, a flower shop, a bookstore, a souvenir store, a food court, etc. On the B1 floor at the Student Union Building, there is a clothes mending and alteration shop (Altteulsa). Under Helen Hall, there is a cafe (Blue Pot) and a shoe repair shop.

How can I use the health center in school?
A : When you pay tuition, you may also pay for the optional health service center fee (23,200 won per semester). If you pay the fee, you can use the health center located on B1 floor in the Human Ecology Building. You can make an appointment through their website (http://euhs.ewha.ac.kr) and receive brief diagnosis, pills, dental treatment, etc.

Can I buy a semester-based parking permit?
A : You can fill out the parking permit application for graduate students at "board for forms" on the Ewha-portal site.

How long am I allowed to use 'leave of absence'?
A : Since you're pursuing a master's degree, you can leave school for up to 2 semesters. You should apply for a leave of absence each semester. If you don't come back after your leave of absence is over, you will be removed from the register. Leave of absence due to pregnancy/childbirth/child-care is available for an additional 2 semesters upon application. If you've already used up 2 semesters of absence but got critically ill, you can apply for "critical illness leave."

How do I use the study room?
A : You can study at the library or at the ECC reading room. If you want to do a group study, you can reserve an ECC lecture room through the Ewha-portal site by filling out the "facility request form" at least 3 days prior to your planned use.

How do I use the library?
A : You can visit the main library or you can search and apply for rental resources through the library website. On the library website, you can extend the rental period of the borrowed items and request inter-library loan for the books Ewha library doesn't possess.

How do I use my student ID card?
A : You need your student ID card to enter the library and reading rooms as well as to rent books. It also works as a check card connected to your Shinhan Bank account. If you lose your student ID card, you need to report your loss to Shinhan Bank and on the Ewha-portal (Eureka) as soon as possible. To reissue the card, you should fill out the "application for multi-functional card reissuance" form (you can find the form at "board for forms" on the Ewha-portal site), and then visit Student Service Center (ECC). You can also issue a mobile Student ID card through the 이화여자대학교 app.

Can I rent lap-top computers?
A : If you need a lap-top, you should go to the IT center (ECC Gate 1, #B205) and leave your student ID card. You can use it for a day (until 5:00pm). You can apply for a school wireless internet access ID at "Eureka" on the Ewha-portal site using your Ewha ID and password.

Where is the AWS office?
A : The AWS office is located in the Asian Center for Women's Studies(ACWS) at Yeonghak-qwan. AWS office is #203 (Tel: 3277-2968) and the ACWS office is #202 (Tel: 3277-4244).

I need a transcript/ a certificate of studentship/enrollment!
A : You can print it out from the ATM at the ECC Gate 1 (₩500 per page). Or you can print it out at home when you request it through Link Services which is at the bottom right of Ewha Womans University Website. You will be able to check and print out the transcript of the preceding semester during vacation (end of July, end of January).
