No. There is no registration fee for attending the conference.
2) How do I register as a general attendee (non-presenting participant)?
General registration will open on June 15. The registration form will be available on the official conference website: [https://acws.pagesss.com/] We kindly encourage you to check the website for the full timetable, programme book, and special event information.
3) I am presenting in an online panel. Can I still attend the conference onsite as an attendee?
Yes. Online panel participants are very welcome to attend onsite as general attendees. As a registered panel participant, you do not need to complete general registration separately.
4) Will a certificate of attendance/participation be issued?
We regret that we are unable to issue certificates of attendance/participation for this conference.
1) How can I apply for AJWS publication support (e.g., special issue proposal, publication process)?
Thank you for your interest. Details regarding AJWS publication support—including any timelines and procedures—will be announced after the conference via the official websites of AJWS and the Asian Center for Women’s Studies (ACWS).
1) Will a printed programme book be provided onsite?
To reduce printing and support a more sustainable conference, the programme book will be provided online only.
2) Do presenters need to submit presentation files (slides/papers) to the conference team in advance?
No. Presenters are not required to submit presentation files to the conference team. If panel organizers wish to collect and circulate presentation materials within their panel, they are welcome to do so.
1) Is there a luggage storage/cloakroom at the venue?
No. Luggage storage is not available at the venue. If you are travelling with luggage, we recommend making alternative storage arrangements in advance.
2) How do I get to the conference venue?

3) How will the classroom presentation setup work? Can I get technical help onsite?
Yes. Conference support staff will be assigned to each classroom and can assist with basic presentation setup only.
Please note that technical support may be limited. Presenters are responsible for bringing and managing their own devices, adapters, and presentation files.
1) How can I attend the film screening?
Registration for the screening has now closed. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats are not assigned.
Please note that only participants who have received a confirmation email will be admitted to the screening. Be sure to bring your confirmation email (printed or digital) on the day.
2) If seats become available due to cancellations, can I register later or join a waiting list?
No. Due to limited seating and operational constraints, we are unable to offer a waiting list or reopen registration even if cancellations occur.
1) Do you have an eco-friendly policy?
Yes. We aim to minimize single-use items wherever possible. We warmly encourage participants to bring a reusable bottle/tumbler and use the onsite water dispensers.
