The Asian Center for Women's Studies at Ewha Womans University operates the International Visiting Research Fellow Program to broaden the horizons of Asian women's studies and foster active networks among researchers both within Korea and abroad. We warmly invite researchers who wish to strengthen their scholarly capacity and collaborate with our center to apply.

1. Overview

- Application Period: Open year-round

- Duration of Stay: 3 months to 1 year (negotiable; extensions available upon further discussion)

- Eligibility: Applicants holding non-Korean nationality (Korean nationals may apply subject to separate discussion)

2. Benefits

- Access to Ewha Womans University library and other on-campus research facilities

- Participation in and collaborative planning of center-hosted events

- Opportunities for academic exchange and collaboration as a member of the ACWS network

※ Due to limited space, separate research areas (e.g., individual desks) within the center are not provided.

※ The center does not provide visa sponsorship of any kind beyond an official invitation letter.

3. Registration Fee

- A registration fee applies based on the total period of appointment, and payment must be completed within one week of selection.

    - Up to 1 semester: KRW 500,000

    - Up to 2 semesters: KRW 1,000,000

※ Applicants who can demonstrate financial hardship may apply for a fee waiver through a review process.
