[Information] Emerging Scholar Series — 'Critical Feminist Interventions in Asia: Rethinking Race, Gender and the Politics of Mobility' Published

The Asian Center for Women’s Studies (ACWS) is pleased to share our new publication of "Critical Feminist Interventions in Asia: Rethinking Race, Gender and the Politics of Mobility," the first volume in the Emerging Scholar Series.

This volume brings together contributions developed through the Critical Feminist Interventions in Asia lecture series, which features emerging scholars working on diverse issues across Asia. The collection explores a wide range of topics—including labor, migration, borders, care, embodiment, and inequality—through critical and transnational feminist perspectives. In doing so, it reconsiders dominant approaches to global knowledge production and power relations while highlighting new possibilities for critical feminist interventions.

As the inaugural publication of the Emerging Scholar Series and the fourth volume in the Race and Gender Series, this volume aims to provide a platform for emerging scholars in Asia to share their research and engage in intellectual exchange. We hope the series will serve as an important venue for fostering critical feminist scholarship and supporting the next generation of researchers across the region.

The Emerging Scholar Series is published as an open-access e-book and can be downloaded through the link below.
