Writing Clinic and Essential English Online Consultations Fall 2020

코로나 19 확산 방지를 위하여 Writing Clinic 및 Essential Tutoring서비스를 9 월 7일 월요일부터Google Hangouts Meet 또는 Zoom (화상 채팅 서비스)으로 진행할 예정입니다. 온라인 서비스는 교내 원격 수업이 끝날 때까지 진행될 것입니다. 자세한 내용은 아래 설명을 참고하시기 바랍니다.
1. 학생들은 이전과 동일하게 Writing Clinic 홈페이지를 통해서 예약하시기 바랍니다.
2. 담당 컨설턴트가Google Hangouts Meet 또는 Zoom링크를 보낼 수있도록 예약 시 자주 사용하는 이메일 주소를 알려 주시기 바랍니다. 24시간 전에 예약을 완료할 시 컨설턴트가 예약 시간10분 전에 링크를 전달할 예정입니다. 당일 예약의 경우, 반드시 아래 지침을 따라 주시기 바랍니다. (#2)
3. 클리닉 예약 시간 30분전까지 필요한 글이나 자료 등을 Writing Clinic 이메일 (eclinic@ewha.ac.kr)로 보내주시기 바랍니다. 이메일에는 수강 과목의 교수님 성함, 교과목 명, 작문 관련 질문 사항과 문제점을 포함해주시기 바랍니다. 또한, 제출 시 제목에 컨설턴트 성함을 입력하여 보내주십시오.
* Writing Clinic으로 이메일을 보내지 않을 경우, 회의 링크를 보내 드릴 수 없으며 컨설턴트와의 상담이 불가능합니다. 반드시 사전에 이메일을 보내주시기 바랍니다.4. Google Hangouts Meet 또는 Zoom은 주변 소리에 민감하기 때문에, 조용한 곳에서 진행 해주시기 바랍니다.
5. 원활한 진행을 위해 학생들은 안정적인 인터넷 환경에서 시작하시길 바랍니다.
* 클리닉은 한 학기에 10회, 1주일에 2회, 하루에1회로 이용이 가능합니다.
** 비대면 기간에 한하여 당일예약은 예약시간 30분 전 까지만 받습니다. 예약 직후, 클리닉에 사용할 글과 기타 자료를 Writing Clinic 이메일 (eclinic@ewha.ac.kr)로 보내주시기 바랍니다.

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Writing Clinic and Essential Tutoring will be providing its services online via Google Hangouts Meet or Zoom. Please follow the instructions below:
1. Make your appointment through the Writing Clinic homepage (as described above).
2. Provide an email address that you frequently check (when making your appointment) in order to receive your Hangouts Meet or Zoom link. Your consultant will send you this link 10 minutes before the appointed time, if you made your appointment 24-hrs in advance. If you made a same day appointment, you must follow the instructions below (#2).
3. Email your writing (for writing consultations) along with any other relevant course materials to the Writing Clinic (eclinic@ewha.ac.kr), at least 30 minutes before your appointed time. Be sure to also include your professor’s name, course title, and your specific writing questions or problems. Please write the name of your consultant in your email subject line.
*If you don’t email the Writing Clinic, we will NOT be able to send you the meeting link, which means you will NOT be able to meet with your consultant.
4. Try to be in a relatively quiet place because Hangouts Meet/Zoom is sound sensitive.
5. Use a device with a strong internet connection so that you will not experience any technical difficulties during your consultation.
*Please note that you will be able to use the Writing Clinic and Essential Tutoringservices once a day, two times per week, and up to 10 times throughout the semester each.
**Also, same-day appointment is allowed up to 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Please don’t forget to email the Writing Clinic (eclinic@ewha.ac.kr) your writing and any other relevant materials as soon as you make your appointment.
