Ewha Research Institute for Translation Studies (ERITS) invites submission of proposals for its biennial international conference on translation & interpreting studies. The theme of the 2018 conference is “Human and Translation & Interpreting”. For centuries, intercultural exchange has been facilitated by human translators and interpreters. However, the recent technological advancement is expected to transform the time old profession. Against this backdrop, ERITS would like to provide a platform to reflect on the past, present and future of translation & interpreting and the role of human translators & interpreters. We would like to welcome your contributions.

You are kindly invited to submit the title and abstract on research that you wish to present at the conference. Please send the title and abstract (max 400 words in English) of your proposal and a short bio (max 150 words) to erits@ewha.ac.kr by July 31, 2018.
