Writing Clinic/Essential Tutoring Operating Hours

Service Period:  June 29 (Tuesday) ~ July 22 (Thursday)

Hours: 10:00 am to 5:50 pm (Monday to Friday)

Online Consultations

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Writing Clinic and Essential Tutoring will be providing its services online via Google Hangouts Meet or Zoom.  Please follow the instructions below:

1.    Make your appointment (for writing as well as reading and speaking consultations) through the Writing Clinic homepage (as described above).

2.    Provide an email address that you frequently check (when making your appointment) in order to receive your Hangouts Meet or Zoom link.  Your consultant will send you this link 10 minutes before the appointed time, if you made your appointment 24-hrs in advance.  If you made a same day appointment, you must follow the instructions below (**). 

3.    Email your writing (for writing consultations) along with any other relevant course materials (for both writing as well as reading and speaking consultations) to the Writing Clinic/Essential Tutoring (eclinic@ewha.ac.kr), at least 30 minutes before your appointed time.  Be sure to include your professor’s name, course title, and your specific writing/reading/speaking questions or problems.  Please write the name of your consultant in your email subject line.

*If you don’t email the Writing Clinic/Essential Tutoring, we will NOT be able to send you the meeting link, which means you will NOT be able to meet with your consultant. 

4.    Try to be in a relatively quiet place because Hangouts Meet/Zoom is sound sensitive.

5.    Use a device with a strong internet connection so that you will not experience any technical difficulties during your consultation.

*Please note that you will be able to use the Writing Clinic and Essential Tutoring services once a day and up to 10 times throughout the spring semester.

**Same-day appointment is allowed up to 30 minutes before the appointed scheduled time.  Please don’t forget to email the Writing Clinic/Essential Tutoring (eclinic@ewha.ac.kr) your writing and any other relevant materials as soon as you make your appointment.

COVID-19로 인해 2021-Summer 학기Writing Clinic과 Essential Tutoring (reading & speaking) 서비스는 Google Hangouts Meet 또는 Zoom을 통해 6월 29일부로 제공될 예정입니다. 자세한 사항은 아래 설명을 참고하시길 바랍니다.

1.    학생들은Writing Clinic 홈페이지를 통해 작문 및 읽기/회화에 대한 컨설팅을 예약하시길 바랍니다.

2.    컨설팅 예약 시, 담당 컨설턴트가 Hangouts Meet 또는 Zoom 링크를 전송할 예정이 오니, 주기적으로 사용하는 이메일 주소를 기입해주세요.24시간 전에 예약 시, 컨설턴트가 예약 시작 10분 전에 기입한 이메일로 링크를 보낼 예정입니다. 당일 예약의 경우 **의 내용을 참고하십시오.

3.    클리닉 예약 시, 컨설팅 시간 최소 30분 전까지 이메일로 담당 교수님 성함, 교과목명, 구체적인 질의/문의사항을 작성하고, 컨설팅을 받을 작문(읽기/회화)과 참고할 수 있는 수업 교재를 첨부하여 eclinic@ewha.ac.kr로 제출해주세요. 이메일 제목에 담당 컨설턴트 이름을 명시해주세요. Writing Clinic/Essential Tutoring는 이메일을 기반으로 Hangouts Meet/Zoom 링크를 전송하고 컨설팅을 진행하기 때문에 반드시 eclinic@ewha.ac.kr로 위의 내용을 제출하십시오.

4.    Hangouts Meet 또는 Zoom으로 컨설팅 진행 시 울림이 발생할 수 있기 때문에 최대한 소음이 적은 장소에서 진행해주세요.

5.    컨설팅 도중에 끊김 현상 등 기술적 어려움이 발생할 수 있으니, 원활한 컨설팅을 위해 인터넷 연결이 잘되는 전자기기를 활용세요.

* Writing Clinic/Essential Tutoring서비스는 1일 1회, 학기당 최대 10회 활용 가능합니다.

** 비대면 기간에 당일예약은 예약시간 30분전까지 가능하며, 상담 받을 작문 내용 및 관련 참고자료를 반드시 eclinic@ewha.ac.kr로 보내주시길 바랍니다.
