Government’s Role

Date and Venue

- Date : Thursday, October 21st 2010

- Venue : The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry(KCCI)

Goal of the Conference

KIPA 19th Anniversary International Conference

Since its inception in 1991, the Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA) has grown to become an internationally-competitive national think tank.  The KIPA is now hosting an international conference to seek Korea's national development models and the role of government in Korea's industrial, social and historic development for the past six decades that have made what Korea is today.  The conference participants will discuss and evaluate the inside story of the "Korea Standard" models that other developing countries can emulate.   It is hoped that the conference will offer insightful information as a reference for policy-makers in developing countries. As the 2010 chair country of the G20, Korea is expected to take this opportunity to play a leading role in today's global society.
