Ewha Language Center 3rd Share the Happiness Bazaar

Ewha Womans Univerisity ELC(Director Haiyoung Lee) hosted a fund-raising campain, the ‘3rd Share the Happiness Bazaar’, for supporting children education on 2nd of May(Tue) from 1pm at the Ewha·Samsung Education & Culture Center.

The bazaar, celebrating the 131st anniversary of Ewha’s foundation and the 30th anniversary of ELC Korean Language Program, was conducted to inherit the sharing spirit and generosity of the all who devoted to it. About 1,000 people including ELC international students, international exchange students and the alumni attended.

The bazaar displayed various products donated by the alumni of ELC including the director Haiyong Lee and by the Goodwill Store, Ecosecret, 2001 Outlet Guro Branch, Ewha Womans University Cooperation and the Publishing Culture Center.

The whole profit for the ‘Share the Happiness Bazaar’, celebrating it’s 3rd opening, will be donated to support children all over the world who are excluded from education through the Unicef Children Education Supporting Project.

This bazaar drew a lot of attention as ELC students displayed foods from all over the world made by themselves. Besides, variety of entertaining activities such as Ewha Karaoke, Virtual Reality zone, various Game zones including archery and group jump-rope contest, Photozone and Calligraphy postcard writing encouraged participation for the donation. Moreover, students and the alumni presented a number of performances which brought huge pleasure to everyone who attended the bazaar.
