[Explanation]
A study into how journalism has affected the modern field of knowledge. A third publication in the Humanistic Knowledge Series, Modern Knowledge and Journalism attempts a fresh interpretation of knowledge during Asia’s previous century of cultural shock and transformation. Journalism is discussed as a key authority that circulated and changed the existing field of knowledge. Part 1 mainly covers the restructuring of modern knowledge, and the formation of discourse in East Asia while Part 2 explores the literary and historical tendencies that had a direct impact on the production and distribution of knowledge.
