Bio Redox System Research Center is the research institute was created to conduct creative research with researchers gathered in life science, chemistry, pharmacy in 2009. The institution is to provide the key theoretical base of regulation for physiological functions through integrated understanding which is based on the scientific approach of interdisciplinary research for the system of oxidation and reduction (redox); by applying this understanding, it may derive new concept of biometrics and innovative drug candidates.

As our "bio redox system convergence research team" has been selected for 'majors & departments launching support projects (type 1)' in 'the development business of World Class University (hereinafter as WCU)' that organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, department of bioinspired science major in general graduate school will be opened to pursue multidisciplinary research dealing with chemistry, life science and pharmacy.

Bio Redox System Research Center that supports and cooperates such research provides global mind to our students by inviting professors of prestigious foreign universities to major professor, and strengthen the University's international research networks and research capacity through a variety of international cooperation; the institution is expected to play a large role in the creation of economic value by applying into material industries and bio-pharmaceutical industry.
