Eligibility



2015 Ewha International Co-ed Summer College participants.

Please send application form and required documents via email at gosummer@ewha.ac.kr.
For EWUUACNA Washington DC Chapter Scholarship, send application materials directly to Scholarship Committee Chair of
EWUUACNA Washington DC Chapter. Scholarship results will be announced by individual email and on the EISC website’s ‘News & Notice board’.

Note:
* Students from partner schools with tuition waivers are not eligible to apply for the above scholarships.

  Ewha ICSC Excellence Award

Full tuition and application fee support for 2 students (Session I only)

Students whose cumulative GPA is above ‘B’ are eligible to apply.
Required documents:
1) Completed Ewha ICSC Excellence Award application form
2) Copy of college transcript
3) Personal essay (in free format)
4) Copy of passport
5) 1 letter of recommendation by a major course Professor at home university

Full tuition, application fee, field trip and accommodation support for 2 students (Session I only).
The Washington, DC Chapter of EWUUACNA scholarship supports both foreign nationals and Korean nationals currently residing in the USA  who wish to study in the Ewha ICSC.
 Required documents:
 1) Completed application form
 2) A copy of college/university transcript or a copy of an acceptance letter from the admitted institution
   (applicable to high school students)

 3) Personal essay (free form)
 4) A copy of passport
 5) A letter of recommendation from professor/teacher

Gloria Hahn Memorial Scholarship

  Full tuition and application fee support for 1 student (Session I only)

Dr. Richard Hahn established this memorial scholarship for his wife, Kim Ronyoung (Mrs. Gloria Hahn) in 1988. Mrs. Hahn is the author of "Clay Walls", the first novel written by a Korean-American about Korean immigrants to the USA during the early 20th century.


  Korea Adoptee Fellowship at Ewha (KAFE)

Full tuition and application fee support for 2 students (Session I only)
The Korean Adoptee Fellowship at Ewha (KAFE) assists overseas Korean adopted students in learning about their motherland through academic study and cross-cultural experiences. Korean adoptee students are eligible to apply.
Required documents:
1) Completed application form
2) Copy of college transcript
3) Personal essay (in free format)
4) Copy of passport
5) 1 letter of recommendation by a major course Professor at home university
6) Proof of adoption

 

   Early Bird Registration Scholarship

20% tuition fee discount for Session I
10% tuition fee discount for Session II

This scholarship is automatically available to students who complete the total application process, including submission of the online application and payment of the application fee and tuition fee, by March 26, 2014 for Session I and May 21, 2014 for Session II.

 

  Ewha Alumnae Scholarship

10% tuition fee discount
Students whose mother, grandmother, sister or aunt is a graduate of Ewha are eligible to apply.
Required documents : Completed application form

 

  Re-Enrolling Student Scholarship

50% tuition fee discount
All students who have attended Ewha ICSC programs in the past are eligible to apply.
Required documents : Copy of the past ‘Certificate of Completion’ or ‘Transcript’ issued by Ewha ICSC in attached file.
