Academic Requirements for Master’s Degree

  • 38 credits & Thesis or 41 credits (additional 3 credits) with a grade point average of 3.00 or above
  • Completion of the Dept. of Int’l Studies Core Courses
  • Completion of the course requirements of the selected program
  • Two years (i.e., four semesters) of regular enrollment
  • Completion of all requirements within 7 years

Academic Requirements for Doctoral Degree

  • 60 credits with a grade point average of 3.00 or above
  • Completion of the Dept. of Int’l Studies Core Courses
  • Completion of the course requirements of the selected program
  • Two years (i.e., four semesters) of regular enrollment
  • Completion of all requirements within 11 years
  • Successful completion of the Comprehensive Examination 
  • Successful completion of a Doctoral Dissertation and Oral Defense
