 * Combined Master’s and Doctoral degree program is offered for all 4 concentration majors.

Academic Requirements for Master’s Degree 

- 38 credits & Thesis (3 credits) or 41 credits (additional 3 credits) with a grade point average of 3.00 or above

- Completion of the Dept. of Int’l Studies Core Courses

- Completion of the course requirements of the selected program

- Two years (i.e., four semesters) of regular enrollment

- Completion of all requirements within 7 years

 

Academic Requirements for Doctoral Degree 

  • ·        - 36 credits with a grade point average of 3.00 or above

    ·        - Completion of the Dept. of Int’l Studies Core Courses

    ·        - Completion of the course requirements of the selected program

    ·        - Two years (i.e., four semesters) of regular enrollment

    ·        - Completion of all requirements within 11 years

    ·        - Successful completion of the Comprehensive Examination 

    ·        - Successful completion of a Doctoral Dissertation and Oral Defense 

Academic Requirements for Combined Master's - Doctoral Degree 

- 60 credits with a grade point average of 3.00 or above

- Completion of the Dept. of Int’l Studies Core Courses

- Completion of the course requirements of the selected program

- 4 years (i.e., 8 semesters: it could be completed within 6 semesters) of regular enrollment

- Completion of all requirements within 13 years

- Successful completion of the Qualifying Exam, Comprehensive Examination 

- Successful completion of a Doctoral Dissertation and Oral Defense
