1. 2020 Winter Intensive Semester Dormitory Schedule:

-Residence Period: December 4th (Fri),2020 ~ February 25th (Thu), 2021

-Check-In Date: From 10:00 a.m. December 4th (Fri), 2020 ~ 

-Check-Out Date: By 10:00 a.m. February 25th (Thu), 2021

* Check-In/out outside of this period is not possible.

* Check-in on weekdays: 10:00 a.m. ~7:00 p.m. / on Weekends: 2:00 p.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.

* Due to COVID-19, self-quarantine is required before check-in outside of campus. In-Dormitory quarantine is not possible.

 

2. Application Qualification: Students enrolled in 2020 Winter Intensive Program

(In newcomers' case, those who have completed document screening process)

 

3. Application period: 

October 14th, 2020 (Wed) 0 a.m. ~ October 21st, 2020 (Wed) 9:00 a.m. (Korean Standard Time)

*Please keep time strictly

*First-come-first-serve system 

*May close earlier than the deadline due to excessive number of applicants)

*Open from midnight between 13^rd (Tue) and 14^th(Wed)

 

4. Winter Intensive Semester I-House Room Type and Fee:

 

I-House C	Single Room (En-suite bathroom)	2,289,000 KRW
I-House E	Single Room (Shared bathroom, female only, Annex)	1,400,000 KRW

5. How to Apply:

Log in with the ID that used for intensive course application on the ELC course application site (http://atom.ewha.ac.kr/) →dormitory → dormitory application → Korean intensive course Winter semester dormitory application → Submit Application → Save 

 

*If the pop up saying 'You have no course registration record' shows, please try again after submitting online application form for winter semester.

*If you are unable to apply for the dormitory even after submitting online application form for the intensive course winter semester, please try again after refreshing the page.

 

6. Announcement of Application Results: 

Scheduled for October 23^rd (will be announced through email individually)

 

7. Payment period of the dormitory:

Scheduled for October 23^rd ~ October 30^th (one week provided after the result announcement)

 

*Please make payment after checking the application result announcement delivered through email.

*Please keep the deadline, if the payment is not made within the payment deadline, the opportunity will be given to wait-listed applicants.

*Send the payment receipt to kfldorm@ewha.ac.kr by the payment deadline.

*”Sender/Depositor Name” should be the student’s own name.

 

8. Required Document (Chest X-ray report) Submission Deadline:

Same with payment deadline, Scheduled for October 23^rd ~ October 30^th (one week provided after the result announcement)

 

*Chest X-ray report that is taken after October 23^rd, 2020; the note must be written in either Korean or English, and need to prove that the student does not have tuberculosis.

*Those students who have submitted X-ray result for fall semester residence do not need to re-submit.

 

 

9. Fall-Winter Vacation Residence:

-Residence Period: November 26th (Thu), 2020 ~December 4th (Fri), 2020

-Residence Qualification: Current fall semester dormitory residents who have applied for winter semester dormitory as well.

*The payment will be included in the winter semester dormitory fee invoice.

10. Winter Semester Dormitory Refund Policy

11. Note

1. If you have not applied to ELC Intensive course, the dormitory shall be cancelled automatically.

2. The room shall be assigned in order of application.

3. Application shall be cancelled if dormitory fee was not paid in time.

4. Dormitory assignment is not allowed if there is a problem in chest X-ray diagnosis.

5. The International Dormitory does not provide meal, and you can dine at nearby student cafeteria for the price range of 5,000 KRW.
