Purpose of the Young LeadersForum
To give leadership opportunities to participating students, Ewha IITC is planning to gather student volunteers who are interested in YLF and support them in holding this event. Target students in order of priority include: ①Ewha students who will participate or have participated in exchange student programs to Germany; ②exchange studentsfrom Germany studying at Ewha; and③any Ewha students whohave relations with Germany. Ewha IITC will support student volunteersthroughout the process, from establishing andorganizing committeesto the wrap-up of this forum. We believe that this student-oriented organization will give students the opportunity to build their leadershipcapabilities, to be mentored by one of the German-Korean forum attendees,and engage in meaningful cultural exchange.

14:30-15:00 Opening Ceremony
14:30 ~ 14:40 Opening speech by a student representative
14:40 ~ 14:50 Opening speech by Ewha President, KF Board Chairman
14:50 ~ 15:00 Celebratory speech (HartmutKoschyk, President of German-Korean Forum incorporated Association, Secretary of State of the Federal Republic of Germany)
15:00 ~ 15:20 Special Session “German-Korean Young LeadersForum in the Future”
15:30 ~ 17:30 Discussion Session
Main discussion topics will be selected by the student organizing committee.
* The discussion will include “How to facilitate student exchange between Korea and Germany.” Selected ideas will be reflected in the YLF mission statement.
17:30 ~ 17:50 German-Korean Young Leaders Forum Mission Statement
18:00 ~ 19:30 Mentoring Workshop
-The workshop will be held in groupsaccording to subjectunder the guidance of professors from“Friends of Korean-German Forum” and entrepreneurs from Germany serving as mentors.
* As an additional event, the pre-planned exhibition will be held until 20:00.
