Application Period
Application documents must be sent by registered mail, and received by the deadline.
Deadline for Fall scholarship applications: April 30
Document Evaluation Result Announcement: May 14
Final Result Announcement: June 3

Deadline for Rolling Admissions: June 30

Required Documents
※All required documents should be filled out in English
1. Completed application form
•Available from the GSIS home page ( free of charge.

2. Statement of Purpose (250-500 words in English): For M.I.S. program applicants only.

3. Study Plan: For Ph.D. program applicants only.

4. English-proficiency test results from one of the following tests: TOEFL, TOEIC, TEPS.
•The most recent scores are preferred, and must be less than two years from the application deadline.
•Exemption: International students whose native language is English or who have received a BA or MA from an accredited English-speaking institution.

5. Two recommendation letters from professors or experts in a field related to international studies: For international applicants and Ph.D. program applicants only.

6. College diplomas or proof of prospective graduation.

7 .Two copies of official transcript.
•Transfer students must submit official transcripts from all institutions they attended.
•Ph.D. program applicants are required to submit two copies each of BA and MA transcripts.

8. Copy of national ID card or passport.
