2. The Schedule of ISR Manuscript Publication

Where can I find a schedule for the manuscript publication? |

ISR is an International Studies journal which is published twice a year. (There is one published the first half of the year on June 30, and another the second half of the year on December 31). Manuscripts received in March will be published in June, and manuscripts received in September will be then published in December. |
3. Application Period

Can I submit an application after the application deadline? |

Yes, you can. The official deadline for thesis application is March 15th for the first half of the year (scheduled to be published on June 30th), and September 15th for the second half of the year (scheduled to be published on December 31th). If you submit the thesis after the deadline, please be sure to contact ISR’s managing editor through email(isr@ewha.ac.kr). Your manuscript must be received within 15 days earlier than the announced deadline (March 30th for the first half of the year and September 30th for the second half of the year) at the very latest. If your manuscript is received late, it will be published in the next issue. |
4.Schedule for Manuscript Screening and Results

When can I get the screening result of my manuscript? |

Since the deadline for the manuscript application is March 15th, for the first half of the year, the final screening result of whether the manuscript will be published is announced individually on April 30th. For the second half of publication results will be announced individually on October 30th since the deadline for manuscript application is September 15th for the second half of the year. Please understand that the screening period can take a while this is to ensure that we publish a high-quality thesis. |
5. The ISR Manuscript Screening Fee

Do I have to pay a manuscript screening fee? |

No, ISR won't charge a fee for authors submitting their manuscript. Please give us your interest and support for ISR! |
6. A Certificate of Thesis Publication

Can I get a certificate guaranteeing publication? |

Sure. If you need a record, please ask for a certificate that the manuscript is expected to be published in ISR. A certificate with a signature of from the editor will be sent to you through email or fax. |
7. The Percentage of Published Manuscripts

What percentage of manuscripts are published in ISR? |

As ISR is a registered journal, the percentage of published manuscripts
is less than 50% (approximately 30%). That is, the percentage of the
submitted manuscripts 30% is published and the percentage of submitted
manuscripts that are not published is 70%. The following is how to calculate
the percentage of the published thesis. |

8. The Revision of English and Printing

Can I get my English revised from ISR after the manuscript is confirmed to be published? |

Yes, of course. ISR has a professional reviser and printing. The author should confirm the revised content so that it is consistent with the author’s research. |
9. The Shipment of an Offprint

Does ISR send only a journal or both a journal and a offprint together to the author who’s manuscript is published? |
A |
ISR provides two volumes of the journal and a PDF file for the author who publishes a manuscript. If you need an offprint, you can get 20 volumes of an offprint at an affordable price, in the case of that you request for a offprint before press time. (May 31 and November 30). If you request for a offprint to ISR after the press time, you will have to pay the printing fee separately at the printing office. |
