·        Contents:

1.    The concept of cooperatives was covered in the session.

2.    Prof. Woo presented a draft of proposal based on the literature review on management and governance of cooperatives. It was decided to apply a modified value chain model and to add the concept of social capital and trust in addition to the management and governance of cooperatives. Also, the background research on country cases were requested.

Next meeting will be on May 27^th, and it is about Corporate Social Responsibility. Prof. Nam will present a tentative proposal on the topic.
