Writing Clinic Online Consultations

The Writing Clinic is GLEO’s tutoring service for students who need additional help outside of the classroom. This semester, our graduate student consultants will provide 30-minute online tutoring on writing-related issues. Please note that the consultations will be conducted in Korean. 

Please follow the instructions below:

1. Make your appointment through the Writing Clinic homepage as described below:

▶ Go to http://epo.ewha.ac.kr, click “영어클리닉” and then “영작문클리닉예약”.

▶ Click the block for a consultant and appoint time you want. 

*Note that Writing Clinic times DO NOT have “essential tutoring” next to the consultant names.

▶ After you complete the sign-in sheet, press “Submit”. 

2. Provide an email address that you frequently check (when making your appointment) in order to receive your Hangouts Meet or Zoom link.  Your consultant will send you this link 10 minutes before the appointed time. 

3. Email your writing along with any other relevant course materials to the Writing Clinic (eclinic@ewha.ac.kr), at least 30 minutes before your appointed time. Be sure to also include your professor’s name, course title, and your specific writing questions or problems. 

Please write the name of your consultant in your email subject line.

4. Try to be in a relatively quiet place because video conferencing apps like Hangouts Meet and Zoom tend to be very sound sensitive.

5. Use a device with a strong internet connection so that you will not experience any technical difficulties during your consultation.

Writing Clinic은 수업 외 추가적인 도움이 필요한 학생들을 위한 GLEO의 튜터링 서비스입니다. 이번 학기에 Writing Clinic 컨설턴트들이 writing 관련 문제에 대해 30분간 온라인 튜터링을 한국어로 진행할 것입니다.

1.   학생들은 이전과 동일하게 아래의 Writing Clinic 홈페이지를 통해서 예약하시기 바랍니다.

▶ http://epo.ewha.ac.kr →  “영어클리닉” →  “영작문클리닉 예약” 클릭.

▶ 희망하는 예약 시간 및 컨설턴트 클릭.

          주의:Writing Clinic 타임에는 컨설턴트 성명옆에 “essential tutoring” 표시가 없음.

▶  서명 완료 후 “Submit” 클릭.
